Division of Occupational Licensure

Jim Read has been the Chief Prosecutor for DOL for the last ten years. DOL licenses and regulates approximately 150 trades and professions in the Commonwealth, comprising over 560,000 licensed individuals, businesses and schools. The Office of Prosecutions handles well over one thousand cases annually. Prior to becoming the Chief, Jim was a prosecutor at DOL for nine years.
